As-installed in the AE92 GT-S' engine bay. The EGR pipe had to be tweaked a little bit to bolt onto
the header and the EGR valve. It'd be easier if I just plugged the EGR port and disabled the system,
but, oh well...

The KBD header extends a little bit further out than the OEM header.

Notice the starter's close proximity to the HOT header. I'll be removing the
stock heat shield on the starter and will replace it w/ some heat barrier/reflecting cloth. It should
help prolong the starter's useful life.

The KBD header "takes its time" joining two passages into one. I'm guessing it's for better torque
characteristics for the 4A-GE. I don't have hard numbers, but it sure feels like there's a litte bit
more torque on tap at low rpm. Check out the big-ol' 19mm bolts that I used at the bottom of the
primary header. =)

Another view of the flex joint. The pre-cat pipe actually has a decent amount of clearance above the
engine subframe; a little too much, I think. If you raise the front end of the car, the right inboard
CV joint boot only has a few mm of clearance before it touches the pre-cat pipe. NOT good if the engine's
been recently run and the pipe is hot. I'm still trying to figure out how to change wheels when I'm at
the autox events w/out burning a hole in the CV joint boot...
