San Francisco International Auto Show '03

Now, this is a Caddy I'd like to see in production!

A Porsche 911 Turbo convertible. Weird.

A 911 Carrera used for the driving school.

Finally, we get to my favorite part of the entire auto show... The San Francisco Region's SCCA display in the banquet room! Here's Durk Edwards's super-clean AE86 that competes in Street Mod.

The man and the machine. It's hard to believe that this very car used terrorize the regional rally races--no obvious battle scars from run-ins with a ditch, tree, or other immovable objects! Absolutely clean car...

Herman Ip and Georgia Abelardo's familiar AE86. Yet, another clean specimen.

This is the Solo 2 section of the display. Yep, that's the rear of a local Porsche GT-2.

I liked this shot of the two AE86s.

A Toyota pickup truck that's prepped for rally racing!

The opposite view of the Solo 2 display.

A low, front quarter shot of Durk's car. Maybe if I clean my car as nicely as Durk does my car would be a little faster. =)

The GT-2. As wide as the Hoosiers are in back, I've seen the car lay down some nice, black stripes on a concrete surface while powering out of a turn with oversteer. Yikes!

Those front tires are waaay wider than my race tires!
